Support Groups: Caregiver/Family (0-2 Years)

The Autism Society of Ohio is a chapter of the national Autism Society and has it’s 501c3 non-profit status under the umbrella of the national Autism Society.

It is dedicated to improving the lives of all affected by autism in Ohio through information and referral, family support, advocacy, professional development, raising awareness and resource development.

Bright Beginnings is an organization made up of people working to ensure expectant parents and families with young children receive high-quality services during the crucial early years of a child’s life. Services include:

Scheduling home visits that are at a convenient time and place
Bringing information in response to your questions or needs
Bringing age-appropriate activities and materials for you and your child
Conducting developmental screenings and assessments
Sharing what you can expect your child to be doing at each stage of development
Encouraging and supporting you as a parent and as your child’s most important teacher
Connecting you to needed resources and services in the community

Includes guides, webcasts, workshops and information on services throughout the autism journey, from diagnosis to adulthood.
