Evidence-based, solution-focused services in educational services to schools and families. Catalyst Farm Therapies is an outpatient practice offering OT, PT, SLP and Counseling. This practice offers a highly motivating environment in which to work on ones therapy goals with an “outside the box” approach. Located on a farm with indoor and outdoor treatment spaces, they are able to provide a dynamic, yet serene, experience for their patients. The Therapists are able to utilize the animals (goats, pigs, chickens, horses…just to name a few) as either tools in the session or motivation at the end. Traditional and farm based techniques are integrated to create a comprehensive approach. In addition to private therapy sessions, Catalyst Farm offers: social skills groups, gross motor play groups, life skills groups, loss and grief counseling groups as well as adult and family counseling. Occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy is offered for patients ages 3 through mid 20s while counseling services are available for all ages.

They are in-network with most insurance plans and all services offered (other than camp and workshops) are billable to insurance. They also accept private pay.

Northeast Ohio’s only social skills program that offers all children a chance to make friends in a fun, movement-based environment. At FIT, children learn valuable social thinking, conversation and self-regulation skills; the tools for connecting with peers and forming friendships.

Game On provides an activity and adventure-based learning program for children with high functioning autism and their peers. The school year program meets once a week for 90 minutes, and provides children on the spectrum and peer models with a fun, safe, accepting environment designed to provide them with the tools they need to appropriately interact with many diverse individuals and environments.

The school year is broken up into four quarters at a total of 24 sessions that do not conflict with holidays or breaks.

Game On Summer Camp is a nature-based day camp for school-aged children and teens that encourages social interactions while cultivating a connection with the outdoors.

They are a provider for Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD), can receive dollars from NEON, and many families use funding from Family Services.

Participants will learn to identify the characteristics of each relationship level and the types of behavior appropriate for that relationship. Professionals specializing in the assessment and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Conditions, Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Depression, behavioral concerns, developmental issues, and chronic medical problems.

Early Identification of Autism Clinic — they will evaluate children under the age of 3 years (36 months) for a potential autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The multidisciplinary team includes a clinical psychologist and a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who can accurately and efficiently assess your child and provide recommendations for growth. Families can expect to complete information gathering/prework by phone or video conference and meet for a single, 3-to-4-hour evaluation appointment. The appointment concludes with diagnostic feedback and families will receive a brief report that day with diagnosis (if applicable), recommendations, and guidance that can be used to seek necessary interventions. A detailed report will be mailed within two weeks.

Teen/adult Services — they offer an executive functioning clinic and a teen emotional regulation clinic.

Dr. Heather Dukes-Murray specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning differences, and complex clinical presentations. She is the Clinic Director of the Early Identification of Autism Clinic at Meghan Barlow & Associates and works with individuals from toddler-hood to adulthood.

Social skills groups are available for a variety of ages.

Evaluations are required for most services.

Oh, Hi! incorporates a variety of evidence-based practices including video modeling, role-play, and social scripts. These methods help learners identify both verbal and non-verbal cues to use as a guide with peers. Classes are grouped by age, skill level, and individual interests.

Camps are available for ages 3-15. There is a kindergarten readiness camp, teen tech camps, and social skills camp for school age children ages pre-K through 1st grade.

In addition, they offer conduct behavioral assessments, school consultations and behavior intervention services. They do not have diagnostic services.

The KIDnections Group, LLC is comprised of a Speech-Language Pathologist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Behavioral Therapist all with extensive experience working with children ages 3-23 with autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, generalized anxiety and other related diagnoses affecting social development.

They provide recreational programs such as cooking, arts and crafts, game playing, music and movement, and sports skills classes all geared for children with autism or similar diagnoses. Kitchen Connections is a workshop style cooking class for children ages 9-14. Participants will learn and practice valuable kitchen skills while sharing cooking experiences with their peers. Both verbal and nonverbal communicators are encouraged to join – augmentative communication devices are welcome.

They also offer private groups and parties (see website for details).

Kidnections Kitchen classes are $70 for a two-hour course. They accept Family Support Dollars for Cuyahoga and Lorain counties and are willing to explore additional funding sources if needed.
