Social & Recreation: Playgrounds (03-06 Years)

The new Cleveland Children’s Museum has created a sensory friendly room in partnership with Monarch School for Autism.

It supports their mission for learning and development of all children. Located on the main floor of the museum, everything in the dimly-lit room is designed to help calm a child or adult down.

The museum opened in its new location November 6, 2017 with newly-designed exhibits for children and adults of all ages.

This inclusive playground includes areas of water play, structured play, and nature play with swings and slides, a sand pit, and a spray park along with a tree house, stage and a bamboo maze.

Adaptive programming available for people with special needs.

The largest fully-accessible playground park in Northeast Ohio where children of all abilities can play together.
