Therapy: Music Therapy (22+ Years)

Arts instruction and therapies inside local schools and on the Beck Center campus for individuals of all ages with disabilities. Sessions are offered on an individual, paired or group basis.

Limited financial aid is available.

Arts education, performance, and advocacy

Heartstring Melodies specializes in providing quality music therapy services to children and young adults in the Northwest Ohio area. They offer individual and group music therapy sessions, using music as the therapeutic medium.

There are summer camps available, in addition to therapy sessions.

A treatment and training center specializing in assisting individuals with autism and their families. They offer the comprehensive assessment, treatment and education of children with autism spectrum disorder using “The S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Approach”.

Services include direct care, parent/professional training, consulting, mentorship and support.

Adaptive music lessons and therapy in your home. Fee is based on travel costs, in addition to lessons.

Music therapy at their facility, at home or in the community, facilitated by Board Certified Music Therapists. Therapy sessions can be one-on-one or in a small group setting, and is available for all ages and disabilities.

MTEC also provides music enrichment classes to daycares, preschools and kindergarten classrooms.

Provides music therapy services to assist clients in reaching their fullest potential through music. Music Therapy Services, LLC provides person-centered, integrative, and strength-based approaches to address the needs of the whole person, and strives to promote the field of music therapy through advocacy, research, and education.

Therapists are available to provide services on site at area agencies, such as schools, day programs, hospitals, and care centers. Therapists may provide direct services to agency consumers or consult with agency staff to implement music therapy strategies.

Individually-designed private sessions targeted towards communication, social skills, and academic, psychological, and physical needs.

Provides Music Therapy services, music lessons, and music enrichment classes for people with special needs using Sensory Integration, singing, instrument playing, improvisation, songwriting, and movement to music.

A music therapy program, offering music therapy services for individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. They also offer a music therapy and summer camp program for teens and adults with special needs. They primarily serve children ages 3-21 living with Autism and/or Developmental Disabilities. They also feel it’s very important for continuity of services even after our clients age out of the school system so we also offer a continuum of services to people 21 and up.

They have an office in Hudson, Ohio and provide in home services in Summit County, Ohio and the surrounding area.

They do not accept insurance at this time.
