Wings for Autism®/Wings for All® is a program of The Arc of the United States that is specially designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorders or other intellectual disabilities, their families, and airline professionals. The program is an airport “rehearsal” that is intended to reduce some of the stress that families who have a child with a disability experience when traveling by air. On the day of the event families will be given the opportunity to practice entering the airport, obtain boarding passes, go through security, and board a plane (that does not take off).
A reception with box lunches provided by United will be held for all family members in the airport after de-boarding the plane. This event is free for all families; however, registration is required as seats are limited.
