The seminar is comprised of five sessions, all of which are all open to to the community.
- The Friday evening workshop is for parents/guardians, caretakers, educators and medical professionals.
- The Saturday morning workshops cover puberty and parents are encouraged to attend with their children with Down syndrome, who are age 9-15. There will be a separate session for parents/sons and parents/daughters. Medical professionals and educators may also attend.
- This will be a comfortable, safe, and fun environment. Videos, slides, pictures, and games will used to improve comprehension for the tweens/teens.
- The Saturday afternoon workshops are a two-part series that cover relationships and boundaries. They are for older teens and young adults. A support person may accompany those who need assistance.
