This two-hour conversation for grandparents or caregivers of a child with autism will include a brief overview of autism spectrum disorders and Applied Behavior Analysis. Tips will be given on how to interact with a child with autism and ways in which you can help that child deal with the challenges he or she faces daily, your own fears and anxieties, and celebrating successes. Ways in which you can discuss autism with other family members will also be covered.
