This social skills building model provides students with intensive social skills training in an authentic movement based environment that closely what matches what they experience at school. The emphasis in the Elementary FIT program is friendship building, emotional regulation, following directions, perspective taking, conversational skills and pro social behavior with their peers and typical peers. As well the Physical Education activities help promote motor planning , cooperation, fair play, sustaining interactions with peers along with kinesthetic awareness and a positive attitude.
