Children pair up with a JCU student “buddy” for the day, play a variety of games hosted by JCU Student Organizations. Games and activities include basketball, karaoke, finger painting, corn hole and a variety of others for children of all ages and abilities. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay for the event and enjoy a guest speaker and networking event, or they can leave their children for the duration of the event and enjoy a day of reprieve. JCU student “buddies” receive training on caring for children with special needs from an Up Side of Downs representative.
