Participants will gain knowledge that transition in an IEP (Individual Education Plan) is a results-oriented process. Participants will also gain knowledge and understanding how a student’s preferences, interests, needs and strengths (PINS) will drive and should drive their services. Lastly, participants will learn why transition planning early is important for successful post secondary outcomes successes; backward planning.
