The first workshop in the ABA 1 series introduces the concepts of reinforcement. Reinforcement is what is used to strengthen adaptive behavior and increase the likelihood those behaviors will occur in the future. It is a critical piece in behavioral treatment of autism spectrum disorders. Participants will learn about positive and negative reinforcement, reinforcer effectiveness and the use of reinforcement inventories.
