Parents will gain new skills in creating a growth mind-set and high self-esteem in children. Parents will learn what works and what doesn’t work related to increasing self-esteem. Participants will learn how to use descriptive praise to encourage children after success or failures and the importance of self-talk which leads to growth mindset. Participants will feel confident in ways to help their children enjoy challenges instead of shying away from them.
