Temple Grandin, PhD invites us into the mind of someone living with autism. Her gift is her ability to explain how she thinks, learns and experiences life, something unique for a person with autism. Temple shares her journey of interventions, therapies, and supports that have enabled her to become a celebrated author, activist, professor of animal science, and internationally acclaimed autism spokesperson.
Named by Time magazine in 2010 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, Temple Grandin is a must-see speaker. She has a knack for imparting practical wisdom on raising and teaching individuals with autism. Temple’s personal first-hand account is sure to change the way we view autism and add to our understanding of how truly special individuals with autism are.
Milestones Autism Resources is proud to present A Special Evening with Temple Grandin as a kick-off to its 15th Annual Autism Spectrum Disorder Conference on June 15-16 at the Cleveland I-X Center. The Milestones Conference provides evidence-based information for parents, professionals and individuals with autism.
